Last Wednesday,I finally got to shoot this 45.
It is an 1873 Cattleman,matte finish 4 3/4".
In this pic,I used Magtech's cowboy loads.(Shot real BP and others as well)
It was 9 yards, as measured by Bushnell Laser Range Finder.
Had to tweak the front sight.Should be better next time.

That's what we've come to expect from most all of these Uberti clones!

Be careful "tweaking" the front sight as it may come off.........the correct way to regulate windage on a SAA is to tighten or loosen the barrel as needed.

It's been quite a long time since here.
For an update,yes............I broke it off.Have since silver soldered it back on.
And is now regulated.It don't shoot to the left.Need to settle on an accurate load.
Will be looking at the 270gr SAA mold from RCBS, and see how these are.
