I do own a Dillon 650 which I use for batch loading for my .222Rem. and my .308Win.
I just wonder, wether there is a simple aftermarket bullet feeder available with a revolving tube magazine which can take a 100 .308 rifle bullets which is activated by the cycling of the press ,with different bushings to align bullets of different diameters accurately and does not need an extra electric powered steering mechanism?
the reason for this is, that it speeds up enormously if one does hot have to grab a bullet by hand and place it on top of the case mouth.
After 100 rounds the primer tube has to be refilled anyway, so the bullet feeder can be filled too, as can the powder measure.
If there is no such thing, it might be a challenge for an engineer to construct one?
Kind Regards,
Paul T.

I know that Dillon and a couple of people have what ask for as accessories to the 550 press, but haven't seen much for he 650 press.
I would be interested in such appliances myself.

I know, there are several feeders for the 650 press; KISS makes them, but I once were unforunately not the highest bidder on Ebay for a home made very simple, exellent finished device which worked very similar to the case feeder on the press.
There were different size bushings for accurate alignment of the bullet, a hand-operated indexing revolving 5-tube feed which took about 50 9mm bullets/tube.
The only thing was, the case mouths had to be flared a little to hold the bullet secure when indexing to the seating die.

Would be possible to get it working, only problem is the length of the rifle bullets.
It looks to me, the tool has been designed with handgun bullets in mind.

i agree ,especially on the 22 cal ( being as there isnt one lolz ) but while it is made in a 30 cal model mostly for shorter bullets, i know it's basically the case feeder changed up a bit ,the main problem i saw was that it was designed for flat bottom bullets, one could possibly bush the feeder head and tubes down to hold straighter it's the feeding fingers i hadnt figured out yet

I got an answer from Lee; the combinations in bullet diameter/length for .308 bullets does not exist, for .224 diameter bullets they have nothing at all- strange when one knows, the .223Rem. is one of the most bulk loaded rifle calibers for semi-auto rifles and speeding up the procedure looks to be an advantage to me.
