Just wondering which reloading manuals you guys like.   The ones I've bought, in order, are Hornady Fourth edition,  Speer #12,  and Nosler Fifth edition.

The Nosler and Hornady are the ones I rely on the most.

I've always liked the Hornady's ballistic tables.  They've helped me get on target fast when shooting at extended ranges.   The other books have them too, but I always end up looking in the Hornady.

This got me thinking, so I took an inventory. 30 Manuals total from just about everyone. If I had to pick one it would be tough but "Pet Loads" by Ken Waters would be at or near the top, thats for sure.  billt

Nosler's my bible.  That's the bullet I use most.  I do occasionaly cross-reference Hornady, Barnes and Hodgdon's manuals, too.  I like A-Square's manual for the reading.  They've got some data for off-the-wall rounds you won't find in the stand-by's.  >>  klallen

The place where I buy all my reloading stuff has a Nosler manuel that I look at when Im up there. I like that it tells you the most accurate powder they tested. Ill probably end up buying that one next, I use mostly nosler bullets.

my favorite is speer #13... which is odd, because i have never handloaded a speer bullet. but of the half dozen or so i have, i like speer #13 best. it is getting dated, though... no short mag stuff, no 480 ruger data.

i like the way the nosler manual is laid out, but i have the most faith in the speer manual. seems that what they list as a top load is actually pretty close to what i find myself...

Have Nosler, Sierra, Hodgdon, Lyman and Speer.

I really like the Sierra manual for all it's input on just about anything regarding reloading as I do the Lyman manual.  Speer is o.k. and the Hodgdon thing is more of a magazine flyer than an actual manual - great info but not the hardbound thing that is also available.

I got my Nosler manual yeterday via UPS .I had a chance today to do some reading.I like my Hodgdon manual,Hornady manuals and both of my Sierra manuals but Nosler has a great manual.I wish I`d bought this sooner instead of relying on Hodgdons load data with various bullets sometimes not including a Nosler bullet in certain grain weights..:thumbs:I`ll rank this book up there with Hornady`s manual on the top..
