I will wet your appetite maybe. I have a reloading cabinet with 8 wheels under it so I can move it anywhere on the main floor of the house to reload. Its getting late so I will post the pics tommorrow. I will show you about 10 pics. You have to see all to see how the cabinet works. Its a great system for those of you with limited space and cant have a bench.

If I can figure out how to post pics here!  LOL

I have an account on photobucket. I up load my pictures to photobucket and they resize it and then it also lists the url address of the picture. You then copy the url address and paste it into the reply and it shows up. Kinda cool the way it works.

I am getting ready to build a second reloading bench, this new one is for my MEC 600 jr, my lube/sizing equipment and another place to collect stuff for reloading.

When it is done I will post pictures.

I have been trying to talk my wife into putting in some additional cabinets and counter top but she says I just have to much stuff, I told her it's like she can never have to many shoes and I can never have to much reloading stuff. Then I got the look! So I guess I will wait a couple weeks and go at it a little differently. (LOL)

Following up on my "Traveling Bench" photo sent a couple days ago, here is an additional picture and more details.  Mostly I use it for loading, and living, on-site at Benchrest tournaments.  But also convenient to park close to firing line when shooting and working up loads at other times.  (Especially nice when weather is hot, cold or wet.)When plugged to local power source (not always available) or with onboard generator running, I use the RCBS Load Master powder dispenser and other electric equipment.  Otherwise I can fall back on the manual powder measure, shown mounted.  In foreground is a Holland "Brass Monkey" used for turning case necks and also for a quick brass polish.  The cute little "O" type press on bench is made by Bob Dodd and is simply clamped to bench,  as is the manual powder measure stand,  both of which can be quickly repositioned or removed and stored.  The press, by the way,  is used only for case sizing, with bullet seating done with the Carstensen in-line seating die and small arbor press shown in picture.  Loading components and other tools are stored in tool cabinets, drawers and overhead cabinets so that work area is relatively clean and neat. (Not always though, as I tent to be messy.)  Any questions? let me know.

Good shooting to all..

Offhand, I like your loading room.   i also used a traveling room.  I converted an old Duth master 21 ft. pull behind.  tore out the walls, insulated it, installeds a window unit and a big 8ft, by 3.5 ft. diamont plate table down one side for my equipment.    My wife said get rid of the camper, as she prefers staying in the tents with the lanterns and campfires, so..... surprise.   I have not taken my loading room anywhere, but i quess I could.I lifted it up onto blocks to save the tires, and to make it more stable.  With the heat here and the humidity in the deep south, i leave the A/c on at 68 deg. all the time.  I need to take some pic's and post-em, but untill now I did not want the remarks I thought i'd get. Plus, it aint exactly fancy you know.

What is the thickest laminated plywood commonly available ?

In the big box stores the thickest you see is 3/4 inch.

In building my house they used some 1-1/2 inch thick laminated boards.

Have been using two thickness of 3/4 inch plywood for most of my handloading tables.

But bigger is always better.

Are there any 2-inch thick laminated plywood sheets ?

Doubled they could make a 4-inch thick top.

With 2 x 8 s for support and 6 x 6 legs...   Have it all assembled by a master cabinet maker...  Add some 25-pound bags of lead shot on the bottom shelf...  Shouldn't get much shaking or rattling.

.

Pics of my just completed bench.  I used to have the press and trimmer mounted to one of the cabinets and all the supplies/equipment inside.  This setup is ALOT better!

The top is a 2" laminated hardwood benchtop reclaimed from the scrap wood pile at work (jeez, the stuff they throw away!!!).

Yes, I realize the stool is a bit high.  I have replaced it with a swiveling office chair that is just the right height for me.

I have an old commercial office desk that weighs about 300 lbs. On it I can place the loaders which are bolted to 2 X 10s about 18"s long. The wing nuts let me easily move/remove them if desired. Now all I need is to put a roof on the little alcove so I can have some room-lol- and moma will quit griping at me. wc
