I have an opprotunity to get group 1,2,3 group lube dies on the cheap from a local shop getting out of loading gear. I guess these deprime and lube. Are they more beneficial, easier ,cleaner than the lube pad?

I have one of these dies in use in my Dillon 650.

They work well if very sparingly filled with lube, otherwise tend to leak.

You must place the rubberband on the filling hole very precisely for that reason to prevent air getting into the hole.

I removed the decap pin because I prefer to decap in my sizer die.

Regards,

Paul.

If you use it in a progressive press, leave an unprimed case in it to keep the lube in it and put a piece of cloth under it to prevent it leaking the lube all over the shell holder plate etc.

Paul.
