I use an old Pacific/Bair magnetic dampened scale. Like it so well I bought a spare. I have an RCBS trickler but I normally just use a 12 gauge shell and tap it over the pan with my index finger to dribble the kernels out. Not real high tech but it's faster to my opinion. RD

i'm currently using a rcbs micropro electronic with an rcbs manual trickler.

i have a brand new rcbs rangemaster 750 digital still sitting in its box under the bench.  it looks like a real nice scale but i've never used it.  pricier model, i believe, then the micropro but i haven't even had it out of the box.  it's a free exchange item for a scale i returned to rcbs some time back.  i can't recall how the heck i got this micropro i'm using and why it's being used over the 750.  i guess it's simply the little mp works so well for me, i can't see replacing it until i have to.

i actually started with a lee "kit " of all the products it was the scale i didnt like the most , i seen several different ones used and new and settled for a old pacific M scale (after trying a very old rcbs 10-10)after a time i got the rcbs micro pro but rarely use it ( sortin cases is about it )

as for tricklers rcbs , they arent heavy enough so i drill 2-3 angled dimples in the side and fill the bottom full of lead (have done several for friends as well ) to help give it weight ,works great !!! ( btw ? no dimples and the lead falls right out )if u do that trick plz remove the spout before pouring lead in it (plastic melts- no i didnt do it but i dont want some one else to do it and then blame me :P )tech tip -the inside is threaded make sure ur turning it the right way with the threads and prime it by tilting it over the pan until it starts oozing out (saves rotations)

Been using a Pact Digital Precision soon after they started selling them which has been several years. It's faster, you can quickly weigh bullets or cases or entire loaded rounds. If it breaks tonight (knock on wood) I'd be calling them to purchase another tomorrow. I do have an RCBS 5-10 balance beam scale that I started with but it's been in a drawer now for a long time. Saving it should there be a long power outage. Buy both, an electronic and a good balance beam if money permits.

I use a RCBS Dial-o-grain scale with a RCBS trickler.

I also have a RCBS 10-10 scale, a Dillon digital scale which I use for weighting bullets and cases

Have a Pact digital and an RCBS 10-10. Don't use the balance beam much anymore, digital sure is easier.

Back when I started, I got a Lyman #55 Powder Measure and used a Hornady Magnetic dampened scale to check the weight every 5 rounds.

I just got the Lyman 1200 DPS3 auto scale, it's great, weighs each load exact.

I have an rcbs electronic digital scale and measure, but frequently still use my old rcbs measure and lyman 505 scale. I find it convenient to have both set-up and use one or the other depending on circumstances. The old fashioned way is sometimes faster, especially when using powders that measure well.

Haven't received my new 10-10 yet from RCBS;had been using a Dillon beam scale + an antique Redding beam scale (just add oil!).

The electronic is now my go-to;using one of the beams for backup.Tried several electronic scales before finding the Jennings Mack 20....accurate to 0.02 grains.Less than $85 delivered, with 110V AC adapter.

If it breaks tomorrow, there is still over 19 years left on the warranty!

The trickler is RCBS....over 25 yrs. old.Has a really large flat washer epoxied to the bottom for ballast. It's magnetically mounted on the butt-end of a piece of 4X4,with a funnel & clear tubing running down to the Jennings.

RCBS Rangemaster 750. It needs to warm up for 20 min before it reads consistantly.

I also use a Rangemaster 750, it's a good scale. It does have a short warm-up period, but I put empty casings on and off, fiddle with the pan, and throw some test charges to get it going. By the time I have all my components laid out on the bench it's good to go. Easily accurate to within 1/10th of a grain.

A Lyman/Ohaus M5 that I bought used in 1977 from a friend... $15, as I recall.

I also use an electronic cheapie about the size of a deck of cards.. Just for drill, I check one against the other and find they are weighing the same.

Since most of my loading uses ball/spherical powders, my Redding measure only needs to be checked every ten (or more) rounds.

Guess I'm getting lazy in my advanced years because I can remember loading a hundred rounds at a time, weighing each charge. That's when I thought I'd live forever!!

I started out with a RCBS 5-0-5 beam scale

i used for years and then I got a notion and bought a pact digital scale and is this the cats meow the accuracy of this thing is stupendous and I use it with an old RCBS trickler and the theory of this practice makes for a dandy round of ammunition.........
