I'm looking to get a Ruger Mini 14 to "play with". Wal-Mart has blued-wood models for $519.00. Is that a good buy? I would prefer Stainless Synthetic, but these didn't look all that bad. They are the "new models" with the rubber butt pad, and are supposed to be more accurate. billt.
Billt, I don't know what mini's are selling for these days. I got my stainless synthetic ranch five years ago for about $490. What with price increases and this being the new model I'd say the price sounds fair.
