Now does anybody have an explanation as to why they completely changed the trigger mechanisim of the new model 70 Winchester rifles?

I was looking at one yesterday and this was pointed out to me by another hunter, who knows I favor the model 70 Winchester. I myself have not read anything as to why they did this at the factory. Also was there a problem with the "old trigger assembly"???:wink:

As good as the old trigger was, it could be improved, so they did, check out:
