I was wondering where the majority of the people in this forum get there bullets and powder from. I am particulary interested in 9MM 124gr. FMJ RN, FP, HP for the Beretta 92FS.
Also if you have any tried and true load data I would love to hear about it.

I just ordered 2000 bullets from Precision Delta. You can check out there website at http://www.precisiondelta.com they supposedly are the supplier for the USPSA. Only drawback is minimum order is 2000 bullets, but you can mix and match caliber or grain. Free delivery through the U.S. Postal service.

For me, it depends first on availability (can't buy it if they don't carry it), then price. I get mine at Cabelas or Sportsman's Warehouse here in Boise. There's another locally owned outfit called Cliff's Guns, Safes and Reloading here in town that carries some harder to find bullets (and brass) in bulk - I pay him a visit at least once a month. I like to support the local economy whenever I can, so if I can buy it here, I do. If not, I'll look for it on the Internet and order it online.

There's a whole lot of country out there with no Cabelas or Sportsman's in the neighborhood, so ordering online might be your best be if you can't get what you want where you live.

Midway has been a good outlet, especially for Magtech bullets - I can't seem to find them anywhere around here, especially their Guardian Gold line. I've also ordered from National Bullet Company online and been pretty well satisfied with their product.

I'm not really sure that casting will be the answer either?  Seems to me the price of lead shot at work is close to $50 for a 25# bag......I remember when it was less then $4.50 a 25# bag(guess I'm showing some age).

Loaded ammunition is being priced higher everyday, looking for deals is almost useless, and there is no end to it.  Won't have to ban firearms, just drive the prices to shoot them as recreation so high no one can afford them.

Montana Gold Bullet and Precision Delta make great stuff and although they are both ripping us off right now [metals shortage excuse] they are still LOTS cheaper than Win or Rem bullets. Check them out. You have to buy 1000 min but they are about half price. Don't even think about any of the plated bullets since they are the same or more.

+1 on precisiondelta
I ordered 2k 115 9mm FMJ for $136 shipped to my door. ($68/k)
They were what you'd expect.
I'll definitely order from them again.
A great place to buy components for training ammunition.
