Good evening,
I have a loading question I hope somebody can help with. I recently acquired a box(500) of .125 Gr. Lead wadcutters. They look just like a normal 158 Gr LSWC, but weigh less. I cannot find any loading data for this bullet. I would like to shoot them out of a short barreled revolver as practice rounds for the more expensive Hornady XTP's.
I have looked at all the major publications and cannot find anything referring to these bullets.
Am I looking in the wrong place or does anyone have a load for this.
Thanks,
P.S. My powder of choice is 700x, but will entertain anything.
Thanks again.

| Sunny, Try here http://stevespages.com/357p_7_125.html He lists 125 grain bullets, not necessarily your specific bullet, but if you are shootong lead you should be just fine. RD

Hodgdon's website shows between 3.7 and 4.2 grains of 700X with a 125 grain cast lead RNFP. Your bullet should be very similar.

| I've used full w/c bullets in .38s down to 100 grains. They're not nearly as accurate as the old 148 grain HBWCs. They make a pretty good small game bullet though.

Thanks for the links. I knew I would find the information on this board. I did not even think about the Hodgdon site. It had information that I think I can use. Its funny that the Hodgdon book I picked up at Sportsmans Warehouse did not have everything that the website has.
Thanks for all the help.

That's 'cause print is dead! I do buy some current reloading guides, but I do get a lot more information from manufacturer's websites for the most part.
