I need some data using Unique or Blue Dot pushing a 200 fn cast bullet. I also only have CCI 350 magnum primers. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Depends on the gun. I'm no fan of Blue Dot but I like Unique in the .44 Spl. I hesitate to give a load until i know what it'll be used in.

I'm partial to 7.0 grains of Unique, low level load. My .44 Specials are shot from a Charter Arms Bulldog, anything hotter gets uncomfortable real quick.
The old Lyman Cast Bullet Manual shows between 7.0 and 8.5 with a 205 grain SWC. Start at 7.0 and work up to what you want.

LOL...my bad! I misread it, it will be used in a S&W 629 and a Ruger SBH.....sorry for the confusion on my part.

My old 'standard load' for .44 Special in an N frame revolver was a 240 or 245 grain bullet over 7.5 grains of Unique. With a 200 grain bullet, the recoil would be a little less and the velocity would be a little more. (Not that I had a chronograph in those days and actually knew.) That was an upper end-medium load; certainly more authority than the old factory 246 grain RNL, but not a quasi-magnum load, either.
I don't use Blue Dot, just haven't got to it yet. 2400 was my old standby and I usually ended up with a load about 2/3s of the way from starting to maximum in the Speer or Lyman loading manual. I'm not sure any of the manuals list 2400 for .44 Special anymore. Something about lawyers.
These days, I'm using WW231 as my 'most all handgun' powder. somewhere around 800 f/s makes a very good load with the 240/245 grain bullets - I should near 900 f/s would be suitable for most uses with a 200 grain bullet.
Enjoy.

For the Ruger Super Blackhawk, loads ranging from 5.0 to 7.5 grains of Unique behind 240 grain cast bullets in 44 Special brass have been tried.
Think John Taffin uses up to 10.0 grains of Unique behind 240 grain cast bullets in 44 Magnum brass.
Also use WW 231 for lighter loads.
Have not had good luck with Blue Dot.
