Nothing gets the participation going like a good pic thread, but some forums don't like starting pic threads without asking permission, something about using too much bandwidth.

Maybe a pic thread for auto pistols, another for hoglegs, and another for D/A wheelies?

Any restrictions on pic size or format?

I kinda figured on .jpgs and would place a reasonable restriction on mine, say mildly compressed and under 2megs in size?

I'm not a webmaster or photographer, so there's a little learning curve going on as well....

Waiting on an answer, either positive or negative from the forum gods.

Here are the so called Snail Drum or helical magazines for the artillery Luger together with the loading tool for same.  Pictured here are the first and second model drums.

Here's one of my favorite Colts.  This is a Jim Hoag multi slide set.  All barrels are Barsto barrels and all parts are of Gold Cup origin.

Here's a beauty.  This is a Walther PPK rare variant.  This is the RZM marked slide.  This particular speciman dates from early 1935.  The finish near 100% mint and is all matching.  Worth a king's ransom now.

Here is a close of the Walther legend on the side of the PPK slide showing the RZM indicia.   This is a rare bird much sought after.

Switch gears a bit, here's a 1863 percussion Sharpe's Carbine.  A joy to shoot and all original.

Here's a rare one that harkens back to the dawn of the breed.  This is rifle 588 of the 1894 Krag series.  The finish is nearly gone on the receiver, but the bore is mirrorlike.

The stock is near mint and the condition of all metal is excellent, no pits or dings anywhere.

Not many earlier than this example still exist in any condition.

Sorry for the poor image but, again, I'm forced to use a top bed scanner.
