Does anyone have any experience with these?? This one is expensive, but I've heard nothing but good about it. I like the way it becomes an integral part of the gun and uses the slide release button as an on-off switch. Nothing looks out of place, or "glued on" like some of the other models. Bill T.

Laser Max is a good one for a stock look, they work well and havea easy to use switch. But I am not a Fan of a laser as it tells you pos. and you start to relay on it and not using your sights like you should. this is my opinion and its mine.

I have the Crimson Trace on two of my mine. Really like them. Not too good at the range outdoors in bright light.

My dad has a set of the crimson trace grips on his .357 and I love them on there. It has a small on off switch on the bottom and a barely noticeable pressure switch that if the main switch is on will turn the laser on when you hold the grips and the laser is just a small bump at the top of the grip. If you dont look real close you cant even tell it has a laser sight on it but in any but the brightest light it shows up well. I would love to get a set for my carry gun for low light situations where you cant see the sights well but cant afford them at present.

That is my opinion of all these "Illumination Tools", i.e. flashlights that people mount on their handguns. I have some old books and magazines on handgun defense from the 60's and they always show cops holding their flashlights at arms length to draw any fire away from their body. The gun mounted flashlights give the bad guy a good aiming point for your eyeball! Bill T.
