This is my hot weather carry pistol , when all i can wear is a T-Shirt. It is the Ruger SS SP-101 in 357 magnum. I use the Speer 146 SW 3/4 jacketed HP with 11.0 gr of AA # 7. This load shoots to exact spot  of the fixed sights at about 15 yards. I love my Glocks and Springfields, but just can't conceal them during the hot months and i don't like being unarmed. Someone robbed a gas station this morning about 10 miles from the house . It seems like there is a robbery about twice a week anymore. They found a fifteen year old boy this morning in the National Forst dead , shot twice with a shotgun. More than likely another drug deal that went sour. It doesn't pay to go unarmed becuase you have a duty to protect your family.

A smaller framed stainless revolver like yours is what I need to get for warm weather.   I like carrying my Beretta, but a long shirt is needed to keep it descreet.

We've got a lot of crime here too.  Whether I'm in town or in the woods I like to be prepared.

Something like that is what my father needs.  He is a devoted wheel gun fan when it comes to pistols.  I like revolvers too but when it comes to CCW picks, the automatics get my .

Were it not for the ever shadowing cash flow problem I'd probably go out and pick up this little thing for my CCW pick:

The Kimber tactical ultra II in 45 ACP.  SWEEEEET!  But there's about 989 reasons why I haven't got one yet

Alas, it's the old standby Beretta 92 FS in 9mm for now.  Will do the job just fine but dang if it ain't bulky.

Mountaineer i had a Kimber just like the one you have posted and my brother liked it so i gave it to him, it had the Tritium sights. I have tried just about everything in the summer and it is very hard to hide a handgun with a T-Shirt , no matter what you carry , unless you have more meat on the body than you need if you know what i mean. I have a Model 60 38 Spl. but i just don't feel confortable with the 38 Spl. as a carry gun. I do like the 357 mag and believe it is the best stopper in a small package.

seems i just got a s&w 637 airweight. i'm not much of a wheelgun fan, but after carrying this one for a couple days on a trial basis, i really, really like it. just disappears w/ only a t-shirt.

90% of the time, regardless of weather, i carry the sig 229, but for instances where more concealment is required, i'll be totin' the smith.

took my daughter to chuck e. cheese a little while back... kind of in a seedier side of town, so even though the smith probably was the better choice because of all the activities there (chasing kids down, picking them up, you know...), i wore the sig. definitely not as comfy as the smith, but man, that thing has a way of making you feel awfully safe...
