With a little work on his reloads, just maybe he could melt that thing down?
I did notice he didn't do a tongue-test on the barrel

That is actually not a Glock 18. Its a 17 with a selector addon. Works the same though. I have seen several 18 frames and 17 conversions with the frames broken at the rear. The frame will eventually give to the stress of the high cyclic rate and the heat.

I've never seen much point to that type of automatic weapon. Mauser's M712 Schnelfeuer, Star's Mauser knock offs, etc, were never outstasndingly sucessful. Shoulder stocked handgun/autos seem kinda pointless. They do make a lot of noise, though...
If I needed that kind of firepower, I'd rather have a dedicated machinepistol/subgun or an automatic rifle.

I agree Charley, It would be fun to just burn ammo through, but worthless as tits on a boar hog.

the last clip made me smile too ! thanx for sharing it ! i noted that there was also several other "related " vids and i was trying to make sense of this one ,several reasons why the first being the title ..umm ok full auto ,i understand that ,but catches on fire? i seen the lighter but wonder if it was gases from the firing or another trick ? the other part is what was the guy aiming at inside the house ( and gee wouldnt i hate to have to patch it ) anyhooo here's the clip i was questioning ...

Actually he's shooting a glorified airsoft gun. It's powered by compressed "green gas." So it's the escaping gas that's catching on fire.

Real men don't need a shoulder stock to control a 9mm pistol, full-auto or otherwise.
That fella and his plastic shootin' iron can sure burn through the ammo. Apparently he's had some practice. Maybe not enough though - check out the lack of muzzle control as he changes mags. I always thought that downrange meant in the direction of where the targets/backstop are located - where the bullets are supposed to go. If he'd have swung that muzzle around on my range, back in the day when I was an instructor and RSO, he only would have done it only once. He'd of had to go somewhere else to do the rest of that demo.
Notwithstanding the free-wheeling muzzle, an impressive display of firepower.
