Opinions?

I've always considered them the the 710's of the handgun world.  Cheap.  Functional at best.  Loads of issues at worst.

I've got another chat site with members admonishing them as reasonable personal defense fodder (to my objections).

Again, opinions?

I have been around a couple of high points and if it was my but on the line i would never even consider packing one of those.  Inncaccurate at best and not always the most dependable thin in the world.  Definatley a no go in my book as far as self defence.  :shameon:

In the evolution of weapons they're just one step up from a sharp stick. Hell, out to 50yds I can shoot more accurately with my bow!

I can think of a LOT more things I'd spend $100-$125 on. They're made not too far from me and I wouldn't drive there if they offered me one for free. Seriously.

I will be working on one this weekend, a guy from work said the firing pin will not hit the primer "it goes click but no bang" it is a 380 and looks like it is cheap (junk) to me.

Well, I finished working on the gun and it will "shoot" now. Will not be getting myself one however, not impressed at all.

Not even in the 710 league, IMO. Manufacturers can get away with blowback handguns in the low pressure cartridges, very tough to do in the high pressure ones, especially at the prices  that High Points go for.

A distant neighbor's got one. I value his feelings so never told him what I thought of it. POS. If that was the only handgun available I would take up knife-fighting. And I HATE blades!
