have a Model 10 "K" frame, 2" barrell I bought 28 years ago....pristine condition..about 300 rounds total through it. The cylinder hangs at times and does not turn freely when firing 6 quick rounds....any suggestions as to a mechanism problem? thanks

Look at the frame, sometimes you get a buildup of residue right above the cylinder and might start binding. Also check that the yoke is straight and the cylinder rotates freely on the yoke.

Not exactly sure of that model but, you might insure that the ejector rod is tight. Open up the cylinder and see if the stem will turn while preventing cylinder movement. I suppose that model would be a left hand thread as are the more modern ones.
But yeah its probably carbon buildup as mentioned. Cyliinder gap is pretty tight on those.
