I have this thing for Old Small Framed Pocket Pistols.

This Browning 1910 in .380 ACP that belonged to my Father is extra special to me.

Dad ran a Swap Meet in a small town outside of Springfield a number of years ago. While on a buying trip at a local auction he placed a bid on a box sight unseen for $2.
When he got it home and looked through it amoungst other items he found an old towel in the bottom of the box that was saturated in axle grease. He unfolded it and found this 1910 Browning pistol in pieces.
It was missing the grips, the magazine was crushed like it had been ran over and all the pins were missing. He took it to the State Highway Patrol and they ran the numbers on it..it came back clean. The numbers on the frame, barrel and slide match.
After nearly a year of hunting I found all the missing parts and rebuilt the pistol for Dad.
Well Dad has since passed on and the pistol has came to be in my possesion now,it's a lot of fun to shoot for such a small framed pistol.

It has a real fondness for Winchester Silvertips and Fiocchi FMJ.

Post Pics of your Favorite Pocket Rockets.

Here is another Small Framed Pistol that many used to buy as a Pocket Pistol.  This Iver Johnson Top Break is chambered in the .32 S&W Short Cartridge.

The 6" Bbl makes it a rather unlikely candidate for a Pocket Gun...I still need to do some work on this one but other than the cylinder hand being defective it is in shootable condition.

Dad gave me this one as a Birthday Present.

My older brother is really into restore these classics. He will take a 32 ACP over a 38 Spl any day.

Those are nice looking guns.

You never know what your going to find in blind bids.

Have a couple opf pocket pistols.

Left, top: H&R topbreak, in .38 S&W. In the process of working up some loads, using start data and Lee's 125 grain RNFP bullet, that  drops at .361. Already tried soft .358 bullets, and wouldn't group for crap.

Left, 2nd from top: Arguable if it's a pocket or not, early S&W I frame Hand Ejector in .32 S&W long. Isn't a great shooter, but a neat revolver anyway.

Left, 3rd from top: INA Brazilian copy of an S&W I frame ( or J frame, retroed with a six round cylinder in .32 S&W Long). No serial, so imported prior to GCA '68. Came missing the cylinder latch, S&W part fit perfectly,. with no fitting required. Good shooter, I've actually used it for concealed carry in some circumstnces.

Left, bottom: Another INA revolver, this gat comes in classy bright nickle! Another decent shooter, identcal to the blue one above. We carry have carried these when going on a cruise, and having to leave the truck in a parking lot for a week. I'd rather loose these guns than one of my 1911s! Both INAs cost me $50 each. Not classy, but pretty solid guns.

Top right: Classic S&W J frame, Model 36. This one was carried as a backup by a SAPD oficer almost his entire carreer. Note the bobbed hammer. I sometimes still carry this one, just a neat, solid handgun. Good shooter, as well.

Right, middle: Colt's Mustang Pocketlite, aluminum frame .380 Bought as a potentila carry gun for Mrs. Charley. She didn't feel comfortable with a SA autopistol in her pocket, though. Safe queen now. I can't believe how much they are going for on the firearm auction sites, might be tempted to sell it. Any Texans here intrested?

Bottom Right: Mrs. Charley's carry gun, a Kel-Tec P-32. It's a true pocket pistol rides in her pocket almost all the time she's not at work. Reliable, and a pretty decent shooter, even if it is DAO...sort of.

I was given a Grendel in the box a few years ago, it shoots well. Plus I have a Kimber Pro Carry II.
