I posted this in the rimfire zone - but maybe I should have posted this question in the revolver forum. Sorry it's a duplicate.

I have a first year out Ruger 22/45 with a SS bull barrel. It is not drilled for a scope rail but I would like to put a dot scope on it.

I have been trying to come up with a no-drill way to mount a scope on the barrel / receiver but other than something home made ( which would be fine ) I cannot find anything commercial available.

Does anyone know of something that would work or is available?
