I'm a hillbilly. My neighbors are hillbillies (except the one next door whose kid can't be trusted to wipe his own.) Any questions? :javatime:

Would love to put that type of sign up but my neighbor is a nice guy. He is not anti but just does not have a gun in his home. He is the one that claims to be ex Marine. I do not understand his reasoning or lack of concern over the protection of his family. Guess he is one of those who thinks he can "come to my house if things get bad" --"it ain't a gonna happen". wc

I'm with you ghrit! Was raised in the mountains of WV and I think all of us were given a .22 for our 5th birthday.

Love the sign!

Hillbilly,
I've heard rumors that West Virginians have one leg shorter than the other. Thought of that when you mentioned mountains.

Maybe that's the reason I keep leaning left on flat ground...:hilarious:

And, no...didn't meet the missus at a family reunion.

Haven't heard the second sentence before, but if I had, I damn sure I wouldn't have repeated it..

I have a guy living next door who spent time in prison - I do NOT want him or anyone else out here to know I have guns.  I figure the first best concept in home security is not to let them know you have anything of interest.

My bike, car and truck all look well-worn, I have no TV dish, no nice 'toys' in the yard to interest the thieves.

I do have the backyard surrounded by a privacy fence - THAT is where I load/unload the guns for a range visit.

As to relations, when my bestist buddy got married the second time, he and the lady got impatient (three day wait in Florida) and 'eloped' to Georgia - as they were getting ready, the woman doing the paperwork asks them if they were 'related'.  They said 'No' and asked why she'd ask.....

She says, "Honey, this IS Georgia!"
