Well just to remind you guys some months ago I stated my sources stated Mitt Romney would receive the Republican nomination. Time will tell and I can't reveal my source yet other than to give you the initials "MP." If it proves true you will be quite surprised about the source.
Oh and my source tells me Hillary and Obama ARE NOT IN THE PICTURE.

I guess I am gonna have to pull the lever on the Republican ticket..There is no possible way I could ever convince myself to vote for a democrat..Their agenda is just too fricking liberal and antigun for me to ever support them.
The Republican party,I am not so derned keen on at the moment but I will take the lesser of the two weevils I reckon.

Actually, it's a great shame...is this the best we can came come up with to run the greatest country in the world? Really think all 'lawyers' should be removed from public office, think it would be a much better deal for everyone. Yes, knowledge of the law should be something the person needs to know, but for 'We the Peoples' benefit...not to get themselves out of trouble.
My dad told me once, "If voting mattered, they wouldn't let us do it!" So by limiting the choices to individuals that you wouldn't allow to clean the kitchen floor, we pretty much been reduced to that statement?

My theory: As the clock ticks the Dems are gonna get nervous about Hill's non-electability and Obama's lack of experience which translates to the same thing. They'll draft a "reluctant" Algore (inventor of the internet AND global warming) who will sacrifice himself for the good of the nation. He'll only do it, however, if everyone agrees to call him Saint Al and gives him Park Place and Boardwalk.

For what it's worth, I am not as worried about Guiliani as a lot of gun owners. Don't get me wrong, I don't want him for president but if he gets the nod I will vote for him over any dem. Hell, I'd vote for Donald Duck over any dem.
If Rudy gets the nomination he will at some point have to get clearly on the record of where what he will do and not do in regards to gun control and related issues. The states that put Republicans in the White House are not New York. Despite his record in NYC, he knows he will have to come over stay over on the pro-gun side. If he doesn't there will be immense republican voter apathy, enough to probably hand the white house to the dem candidate. If he gets elected and wants to get re-elected, he won't sign off on any major gun restrictions.
I could be wrong but it would be political suicide for an R candidate in a national race to go anti-gun.

I read over at AR15.com that Romney said on Meet the Press this morning that he was in favor of a new Assault Weapons Ban. He said the the public did not need weapons of increased lethality.
That disqualifies him in my book.

I could be wrong since I'm trying to pull this out of a cobwebbed corner of the ole brain but I think they said that in any given Presidential election they recieve about 2 or 3% of write in votes for Mickey Mouse.
I'm really looking hard at Mike Huckabee. If it comes down to Fred Thompson or Huckabee that would be a hard choice for me.

You might really want to take a good look at Huckster's liberal voting record. And his forcing of a diet on everyone else after his miracle in weight loss! He's a lib in sheep's clothing, but people that want to get elected often change parties in order to get on the ballot......or just say their a republican.
