I think that sounds cool. Would that be scoped or open sights?
Any other rules or expectations?

I got 2 .22 RF rifles but I don't think their good enough for something like that. So what about a pistol class? I got a Smith & Wesson 422 that might do it. Last edited on Sun Aug 16th, 2009 06:16 PM by Ruger45

One more question. Can a family member participate evern if they are not a member of this board? I am thinking the wife (just getting her to do some shooting) and son (14 yo).
Sorry, about the other questions, I didn't see all the questions ahead of mine. I am on dial up that is so slow, i hit the reply before everything came in.

Hi, just got the email, many thanks. I'm over the pond in the UK, is it alright to enter this comp, just might use this opportunity to resurrect the old Anschutz Target out of retirement...lol.

OK, the target is fixed, the range is fixed, the ammo is fixed, sights are classified, the scorer is selected. Any limitations on rifle? My Kimber target rifle is somewhat better than a 10/22 (in my hands, anyway) and it needs a bit of a workout.

Sounds like fun.
Personally, I prefer 'handicapping' over making different classes, but could easily live with whatever the group decides.

Sounds great. As soon as there is a mailing address, I will get some .17 HMR targets ready for you.

Heres what we`re thinking..
http://www.mytargets.com/target106%20grid%20x4.pdf shot with 5-rounds per dot, average group to be determined by all groups divided by four. Ranges already listed above. One target per member, per class shot. Target would need to have name, date shot, caliber/class, and that would be about it.
.....
Lets hear your thoughts.
TG
TG,
So all we have to do is shoot a 5 shot group some where by the red dot?
(i.e. Closer to center don't count - Just group size?)

Thats it, you shoot 5 shots at each red dot for the smallest group you can per each red dot..20 shots total.we average the four shot groups measured ctc and the smallest group wins..
