:confused:Geeee,,,forgot all about it. Gonna shoot it tomorrow morning. Told my lady I was
gonna do it and she said she wanted to shoot hers too. So she will be entering her
target as well. Hard to believe I'm retired and I have more work to do now than before. Just been squirrel hunting too damn much. They will be in the mail tomorrow.
I promise.

Sorry, won't be sending a target thistime.

Went to the rnge and had a critical failure and by the time I found the problem I would not have had enough rounds to resight and shoot a target.

Next time!

Putting the target in the mail in the morning. Shot in a 1/2 value wind, 7 gusting to 12 mph. Used my trusty Savage MKII FV & CCI MiniMags.

Unfortunately I only managed to get my rifle in my hands today, because it was with my father on the other side of the state.

Keep me in mind next time one of these invitations goes out! I have it now and am ready to go.

Cheers,
Bill

OK fellers,I`m gonna give the late shooters till the 19th of September for all targets to be in,post marked no later than 15 Sep post mark.
I need an impartial judge...
Someone that has caliper and can ctc holes..
This round is for bragging rights.I have only 9 envelopes with targets that are still unopened.
The next round is for trophies. This was the test run I reckon but it looks like we have enough interest to go to a trophy match.

Sound like a plan, count me in for the next go around. Picked up a new Kimber at Camp Perry and I'm ready to try it out. Hope you received my entry for this last match.

Didn't we already have the fella in Texas near you judging?

How many actually shot....did we get the total yet?  And who won?

Scott I aint heard nothin from that feller since he offered up to judge.I got nine or ten envelopes I believe in the box.
I could judge em but I dont think it is right for an admin to do it.Needs to be an impartial feller who doesn`t know any of us here personally.
Somebody step up and take the scoring so we can see who won this shoot fellas.
Gene

Between the rain and the skeeters, it was tough to get a day. My son and I tried last week and I shot so poorly with my new Savage MKII that I would be ashamed to send it in. The trigger is terrible.

My son was shooting a 10/22 and did good on the 1st couple of groups , and then the scope mount loosened from the receiver and his targets looked like he was shooing birdshot at them...While I have reloaded and shot for years, I was always too hyper to sit still for real accuracy. If I could hit that 6 inch circle at 100...good enough for hunting.....more recently medical reasons keep me from climbing the hills, so I am shifting my sights to trying to hit with closer groups. Hence me finding this forum and signing on.I don't have any of the really accurate rifles, so I will never shot like some of you guys in here, but it will be fun and it is something I can do.

So, thanks for the chance and maybe we can do it next time. Luck to all of those who "got it done". as for judging...my vote is TG...if one of the forum leaders can't be trusted then maybe one needs to find a new forum....

Gene I got busy with trying to get the hay done, went to a bpcr shoot, and won't be sending a target in, do have a handful printed out tho......
Anyway I vote you go ahead and judge , cuz if we can't trust you to do it right we can't trust anybody to do it.

Gene,
I agree with the others. Go ahead and judge those targets. I wish I had one there for you to judge, I'd have no problems with your results!

Looking forward to the next match:thumbs:

Alright fellers ,I`ll do it.
Bear with me gents. The staff knows already,I had to move out a week ago and I`m trying to get settled in a new place as my wife and I split ways and will divorce soon.I`m still movin stuff in to the new place.
I`ll score the targets as soon as I can but give me a day or two fellas,I am swamped trying to get things out and in, working a 70-80 hour a week job as Superintendent, Senior Estimator and Project Manager in heavy commercial excavation and grading job.
Yall have my word,I`ll score these targets fast as I can...I shot competitively in long range matches and dabbled in benchrest 100 yard shooting so I know how to do it and I`ll do it right.
and I am impartial,If you shot it, you got it gents,.
Gene

Sorry for your trouble there, TG. I work some pretty long hours myself & that dosen't leave much time for extra activites. Get yourself settled in before you start worring about scoring those targets. We can wait.

Same here.  Go ahead and do it.    I have a target in, but no hopes of anything above last (or best worst, if there is a difference) place.    How about next time, pick a target that my old eyes can see over irons?  Those colored spots sure did dance around.
