Paraphrased from Shakespear, of course. I won't shed any tears over that SOB. Nobody on the networks are saying it, of course, but at worst Teddy Kennedy was a murderer, at best he was a chickenshit coward who left a woman to die.

Make me smile, to think of old Ted arriving in an afterlife, and Mary Jo Kopeckne seeing him, walking up to him and smiling, and then kicking him in the nuts.

I wonder what the families of some of the Vets buried at Arlington think about Teddy going to be interred there?? Just a thought..

Wouldn't wish his death (brain cancer) on anybody, including himself....

However: 1.) he cheated in college and was kicked out of Harvard; Papa Joe "fixed" it so he could return and graduate. 2.) Many trysts with many women.  3.) Alcoholic....nuff said.  4.) the whole Chappaquiddick affair....can you say 'cover up'?

On some news show this morning, some stupid politician was claiming him to be a great American who exemplified American ideals...

....lying, cheating, leaving someone to die, and alcoholism are American ideals?!

Joe Senior, JFK, RFK, Ted, Michael Skagell.....the whole family are a bunch of self serving, whoring pack of rats that manage to get ahead by manipulating the system to thier benefit, while putting up road blocks to others to keep them from getting ahead.

If the Kennedy family represents American 'ideals', then Islam is a religion of peace...

I believe he is being interred at Arlington because his brothers are there....I know JFK served in the navy in WWII, but I don't think his brother Bobby saw any service....except for Marilyn Monroe.

I just found out that he supposedly served two years as a private in the army, and was an MP.....what a joke.

Joe Jr. seemed to be the only honorable one in the family. He was KIA in Europe as part of project Aphrodite, which involved flying high time B17s and B24s, loaded with explosives, against German V1 launch sites.

The rest weren't fit for much. The old man was a criminal, his kids didn't fall far from the tree.

The utter best part of this is that we will be hearing of it for far less time than we'll be hearing about jacko.

Ted signed up for four years (Army) by mistake. He wanted two years but apparently got confused. Daddy got the enlistment downed to two years and made sure he was posted to Paris instead of Korea. In two years, as a college grad, he never moved above E2.
