My youngest son came home from his National Guard unit last night and he had a gift given to him for me and one for his mother from the Guard unit .

One year of sweat , tears and worry and we finally get a pay back ?

Well to be honest for him I would do it a million times as long as he keeps his promise to me to just come home .

My other son is back in the fight in Afghanistan as I type this so there are plenty more worries ahead but I will always keep the faith .

He has a promise to keep with me as well .

All I can say to both of them is I love you and to let you know . ( Your Dads Hero as well ) .

My youngest is a light wheel mechanic in the National Guard and my oldest is on his 6TH deployment now. He volunteered for this one. He is 101ST Airborne sniper . I think he is involved with what they call force protection during this deployment but I am not sure of that . Kind of picked it up while talking to him on the phone .

GOD Speed to your sons.

My youngest was Marine of the Year a few years ago. He is in Camp LeJune training troops now. My Son-In-Law is in Afganistan for another month or so.

Thank you to all of our men & women who have, and are now serving this Country.
