When done correctly, reloading/handloading is a very safe hobby.Due to the variables involved with loading practices we take no responsibility for the safety or validity of the information posted on this board.It is the individual reloaders responsibility to start 10 percent below the max charge in the manual used.

Fella's;

And especially those who are learning to reload.  Just remember this little bit of information that was offered to me when I was starting to roll my own.

we literally are playing with dynomite.

I've been doing it for over 30 years now & still have not blown up a gun.  Got all my eyes, fingers, & other essential working parts too.  Work 'em up gradually.

Copied from another thread because it's good advice!!!!!!

Common sense trumps ANY book, if the primers flatten out, back off a bit, and be happy with what you have. If you want more, get a bigger caliber.
If you push the envelope too far, you may lose that nice tight gun, and some body parts.
For the cost of some medical attention, you can buy a couple of really nice guns in your choice of caliber, and still have a finger to pull the trigger with.

Totally agree with everything said.  If you have anything on your mind that distracts you, get off the loading bench and come back another time.  Develop good safe loading procedures and follow them.  Have fun.
