Lee Reloader Press 38Spcl/357Mag.  I've only been at it about a year.  Dream come true, just wish it had come true a bout 40 years sooner.

I started on an RCBS rock chucker, and since then have added 2 additional presses. I still Have the rock chucker used for rifle and for when I teach reloading, I had a 3 stage turret from Lee and recently due to a larger need for 40 s&ws I bought a progressive

i got a lyman reloading kit in the mid 70s that came with a lyman turrent press.  still use everything i got in that kit today except for the scales they got busted during a move.  have added a few peices to it over the years but still use the old turrent press.

My first press was a Lyman Comet single stage that I bought in 1965. Later that year, I got a Lyman All American turret that I still use regularly. Just to remind me that things cost a bunch more now than in those days, Back in the early 60s, I bought an all matching DWM Luger for $65, had it for a few years until I got the reloading bug. Took it to the Gart Bros sporting goods store, which was then on the old skid row in Denver. Told the clerk that if he gave me $100 for the Luger, I'd spend it all in the store for loading gear. He did and I did. A hundred bucks bought a lot of stuff back then when primers were fifty cents a hundred:thumbs:

Started on my Stepdad's Lee Challenger Press (pre-Breech lock mods), with dippers (ugh) and non-carbide pistol dies (double-ugh).

Bought a new Hornadly LnL AP setup a month or 2 ago (getting back into it after 15 years), it's a great leap forward!

I started reloading with an Old C&H "C" press, then after ten years i "upgraded" to a Herters O press, then i bought a Hornady press that i am still using....I gave the other two presses away to people that were just  starting out and couldnt afford to buy a lot of equipment,  man, i wish i had them now!

LAH

I used to use the wasp waist bullets in my 22-250, and the Bannana Peel bullets in my 30-06, I bet not too many people remember those!

I started loading the the Lee Loader System (NO PRESS). I continued with it until I got tired of detonating primers driving them home with a steel bar and mallet. Even though the system was awkard, I was hooked on reloading forever!

I started with a second-hand Herter's Super 3,allegedly bought new in 1964?!?!

Still using it- just bought another one a month or so ago on eBay for ~$1 per lb. ($19)!

I won't trade 'em off - my oldest Grandson is acting interested in learning.....

I started with the Lee Classic Loader as well.  Believe it or not, never had a primer detonate on me but the anxiety was always there.  I now have a single stage(Lee Classic Cast), a turrett(Redding T7), 2 progressive presses(2 Dillon XL650's) and another turret/semi progressive(Dillon AT500 with a couple of upgrades).

I still have the Lee Classic Loader that I started on and will be getting a few more just in case I need to seat a bullet at the range.

Lost my handloading cherry to a RCBS Rock Chucker, single-stage, RCBS non-carbide dies. First caliber .38/.357 mag. What unbridled joy!

Still have that press with a Piggyback III progressive head on it. Many more dies in the collection now, carbide and standard, rifle and pistol. Still use that press almost every day. All of that stuff has paid for itself many times over in terms of savings over factory ammo. Current savings on .45 Colt "cowboy" loads is 66% over equivalent factory load.

I started out on a Herters single stage press, then bought a rock chucker, after that it was Dillon 450s and 550s.

I started out on a Mec 300 for shotgun then got a Herters 0 magnum for rifle. Got rid of the 300 and bought 2 Mec 650 and 2 700 In about a month sold the two 700 and bought 2 more 650. Then I sold the Herters and bought a RCBS Rock Chucker. Sold the Rock Chucker and got a Dillon 550. Sold the 550 and got a Dillon 650 and bought another Rock Chucker. Don’t know why I bought another Rock Chucker.  So now I have a Dillon 650, Rock Chucker and 2 Mec 650.

I started with a Lyman Spartan which I still have set up on my bench.  I haven't used it in years but it's kind of like an old dog - it just gives me comfort being there.
