4.5 gr of Universal Clays is the cleanest., then 4.5 gr of W231. These are target loads that I use on the range.

my favorite loads for a 150 gr. cast swc are 6.2 grs. of bullseye for .357 magnum cases and 3.2 grs of bullseye for .38 spl cases.. these are shot from a n frame s&w model 27 and they are very nice from it.... your mileage may vary and as always work up them....... always check for double loads before seating the bullet with the bullseye loads....
