Reloading is quite new in the UK and it's not easy to get components. What I have managed to get is some N410 powder from Vihtavuori. I Federal brass and have some 90g Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets.
What I don't have is a receipe for that combination so have no idea where to start!
Any help gratefully received
Gavin

Never worked with any Vihtavouri powders myself. Usually use IMR 4350 for 243 Winchester loads though.
Vihtaroui has an Adobe PDF reloading guide available that you can download and print.
Check out this link:
http://www.vihtavuori-lapua.com/downloads.php
For 243 Winchester, N140 (I didn't see where there is a N410 powder, misspelling error?) with 87 gr. bullets the starting load is 34.3 grains and max is 38.3 grains of powder. That should be about right for 90 gr. bullets too.
Check out the link above, it should give all the info you need. Good luck!

Many thanks for that, I do have that data but I thought that with a bulletthat is 3g heavier than the only load for that powder then I'd have to add a bit more powder than the mas recommended due to the extra weight but very wary of doing that for obvious reasons.
best

Thanks very much. It goes to 87g and I have 90g, I take it that there's no difference and I just load for the lighter bullet weight?

Just start at the min load for the 87 gr and work up to max for your 90 gr. Three gr doesn't make that much difference but the length of the bullet or bearing surface of the bullet on the rifling does. The more bearing surface of the bullet on the rifling the higher the pressure builds to push it down the barrel.
