Hey Jimmy. My Hodgdon manual gives data for the 145 gr Speer bullet , but with Alliant powder.

Reloder 22 and 64.5 grains is max

Reloder19 and 61,7 grains is max.

I am sure you know that crimping a bullet can cause slight increases in pressure so look for signs as you get near the book max.

I will try to find some IMR data for you and if we have to ,we can get data for the 140 and 150 and split the max charge for the 145..

Anybody with IMR data and this bullet help us out here..

Hi Two Beards,  I've never loaded for the 7mm Mag, but my Speer #12 manual shows a start load of 56gs and a max load of 60gs of IMR4350 with the 145gr Grand Slam.

Whenever I've used a bullet with a crimping cannelure I haven't bothered crimping the case.   Others might have a different opinion to offer.  Hope you find a good load for it.

Timber,  you don't need to buy the manual.  Apparently enough of us have it, so just ask us anytime you need data.    :thumbs:
