Trying to get a sportsman's point of view.
As far as self/home defense, I would think that one of these would absolutely ROCK!, but I just don't know if they would be a good birding gun. My current birding gun is a stoeger condor, but it bit me last time I took it out. It shoots fine.
I still like shooting my coach gun sxs, and it seems to be working good now, I'm convinced that stoegers aren't the end-all, and am looking for a tough, agile, reliable and accurate all purpose gun. This won't be converted, used to hunt deer, used to shoot clays/trap, or for self defense. Between my state of residence, the ATF, and various import restrictions it's basically impossible to mod the gun, but that's ok, since it's planned purpose is simply to kill birds at tall silo ranges.
Anybody got one?
Like it?

Get a Benelli super nova. It has recoil reduction looks cool and my nova has never jamed. They are very low weight and is acurate. Prices range from $400-$520. I belive Benelli is the best brand.
