I had one of those LEE handloaders, it warn’t a whole lot of fun. I loaded maybe 25 or so shells, went out and got my first MEC.

I was in a survivalist state of mind when I bought that thing. I reloaded about 100 shot shells with it. I keep it just in case.
Last I checked you can buy shot shells cheaper at Walmart than the cost of components.

I just bought 200 Federal shells in 100 round packages from Walmart. I think it was about $20 per hundred.

With some of equipment that I need to have out in the fields, a Snake Charmer in 410 would be nice, but it becomes more junk to carry.
I always have a 45 on my hip. If I could get a scabboard that would fir my tractor, maybe a long gun would work.
I do have one of those Canadian made Winchester 12 gauge shot guns, maybe cutting it down to minimum would create usable weapon.

| you just need to load the right thing. most lead and 3 1/2 steel loads are cheaper to make.

Shooter,
I am working on the load, but the snakes can hold the target for me to see if the load works, they don't have arms.
Thanks,
Jerry

(I LIKE shotguns-there,I've said it!)
Last one is black,holds 8 rds.Cylinder bore 20".
First one is Belgian-made;has "Sweet" as part of the label.
There's been others, but not as memorable.
But I only handload for rifles & handguns....
