Dragon, One very important thing I've brought up in other threads but forgot to here. If you tip your bottles back to change bushings etc. make sure that you put your hand solidly over the stopper in the shot bottle. Carelessly flopping it over will result in the shot popping the red plug out of the top and shot going everywhere much to the displeasure of SWMBO especially if it lands in the family room carpet. Of related nature the standard household vacuum cleaner will pick up a minimal amount of number 9 shot but will routinely fail to pick up 7 1/2. It will however spread it over a much wider area by virtue of vigorous carpet brushing action. Verified by personal observation and misguided remedial actions. However I can only attest to that happening with the LARGE shot bottle filled to max capacity.  RD

I'm paranoid about those stoppers, I cringe at the thought of powder and shot spilling everywhere when I tilt it back to unload. I try to keep my hand on them as I tilt and get the shot bottle off right away to avoid a catastrophe. :eek2: hehe.
