Today I sold my good old 30-06 for $325 and put Sotager 120Gauge coach gun on layaway, I sold the '06 to a good friend he will pay me soon so I'll have the Soager here real soon. I hope that this will make a good grouse gun.

Never handled the Stoeger coach gun, but did have a Rossi hammer double with 20 inch barrels. Handled well, I shot a lot of doves with it, even though this was way before Cowboy Slaction shooting, and I got a lot of strange looks in the field with it.

Lost it in a burglary, and looked everywhere for another one. Finally found one several years later, and ended up trading a low number M1903 for it. Not a great trade, but I wanted the shotgun more than I wanted the rifle. Still have it, it is a comfort when camping, nothing like two 3 inch 12 bore buckshot loads to make you feel secure.

I'm pretty sure you are going to like the gun!

A few years ago, I bought a couple of Stoeger Uplanders, 12 & 20. One of my kids has them now. (That happens to a LOT of my shootin' stuff}. They were pretty decent firearms. Coach gun sounds like a good idea.

Last year I wanted a 20 ga. Couldn't decide if I wanted an over & under or a side by side so I bought both. The o/u is a Mossberg Silver Reserve and the s/s is a Stoger  Uplander. Wow I love that gun. Fits and swings nicely. Took it for a walk once last year. Hope to give it more walks this year.
