I just built a forum mainly about ice fishing but I included open water fishing along with hunting. http://www.theicefishingshack.com Check it out if you like.

WildBill I checked out the forum and it's going to fill a unique need for our part of the country!
Just so you know I'll be a regular on it going by the name of greenwater.

What is this "ice" you are speaking of? Is that the same stuff we put in boxes down here to keep our beer cold? Just curious.

Wolfkill, thanks for joining. I hope it takes off, it should. There are very few ice fishing forums.
Charley, yep same stuff you put in your box to keep your beer cold. Up here we don't need a box, we just put the beer on the ice outside the fish house.

Well..I am joining but I don`t have a clue about ice fishin.If you ask me how to bait hogs,catch yeller cats on a drop line or outsmart a old cedar break buck I can help..but I sense I am soon to be a novice when it comes to fishin on ice..lol

We're not just about ice fishing anymore. I've added a few new topics since startup and I am always on the lookout for new topics. The main subject is still icefishing, but we have to have something to talk about the rest of the year.

Haaaaaa...don't let him fool you guys. I just stopped by his place Friday and WildBill still has ice on the lakes up there.
But seriously there is some beautiful country up by WildBill I hope to to digitally capture and post on his site while fishing and hunting and shooting up there.
Just up the road from WildBill the Steelhead fish will soon start to run inland from the big Lake Superior. Here's some shots...note the snow and ice. Shots taken 3/31/07.

We are supposed to get another 3 to 5 inches of snow by tomorrow night.
There is some awesome scenery along the north shore of Lake Superior.
