Please post your favorite website for getting weather radar here:
Here's mine, I find it almost invaluable asset in getting ready to do things during the upcoming day. At this moment, I was getting ready to go to the lease, and looked. A very large complex of thunderstorms are approaching! Guess I'll save some gas and stay home?!?

Intellicast.com has the widest selection I've found so far.

| I just look at the NWS radar images linked to a local TV station. I can usually tell enough of what's going on by looking at the radar loops.

sbd777 I'm not trying to sound paranoid and all but I linked to the site and an hour later on my desktop I had a icon to shortcut to it I don't remember putting there. It was way off on the right hand side which caught my attention right away since I specifically have an order and location for my desktop icons on the left side.
Should I be wrapping my head in tin foil this being a govt site and all?

A few years ago I read an article about online weather sites. A study was done that compared the weather forecasts after the fact. they compared what the weather actually did and compared it to what the online service predicted would take place and accuweather.com was found to be the most accurate.

Don't know if a tin foil hat is necessary yet? Been using this site(link above) for almost year, haven't had any weird things show up on my computer(other then my desktop and screen saver).
There was another website I had been to, was hoping someone else has used it and can bring the memory back into my mind's eye. Showed a the actual amount of rainfall for the year, drought indicator, and a few other things. Anyone know that one?

weatherunderground is good (i think you can also use http://www.wunderground.com ?).
my favorite by far is the weatherbug. go to http://www.weatherbug.com and download the program there. from what i can see it is adware and spyware-free and costs nothing to use. full of good, local information and always right there for you so you don't have to go to a site.
been using it for 4 years with no problems and nothing but satisfaction!

Accuweather is very, very good. Local radio station was their very first client, almost 30 years ago. Their forecasts are not geared toward local ratings and BS, pretty much just the facts.
