Anybody using Retumbo?

Yup.

What are you loading it in?

7mm RUM, 7.82 Warbird.

results?

Results have been pleasing.  With this powder, the RUM has a 160 gr. AccuBond moving along at 3347 fps.  Last 3, 3-shot groups I printed before last season's big game hunt were .311", .712" and .868".  The Warbird has the 180 gr. AccuBond leaving the muzzle at 3511 fps.  Last 3-shot group with it at the range printed .350", but I'd call this rifle a .750" grouper, on average.

I like Retumbo.  They had some major consistency issues in the beginning.  Was seeing very strange stuff from lb. to lb.  I remedied this by getting a canister that could hold 6 - 7 lb. of powder and mixed things well.  When I get even slightly low, another lb. was added.  Retumbo's been around for a while and I've got to assume they've remedied the problem, but wouldn't know for certain, as I've stayed with the large canister.  Any inconsistencies, if they're still there, just aren't evident when mixed in with the larger batch.  Later.  >>  klallen

It sounds like it is working good with both your cartridges klallen.I heard it mentioned in another reloading spot where a guy said he was using it with a 25-06 ..

I'd believe it, TIMBER.  Depending on the bullet he's using.  My Hodgdon manual lists Retumbo as offering the best performance that they found in the .25-06 using the heavier bullets (117, 120 gr.).  H1000's a close second.  I'll stick with R22 in my .25-06 but I'm only using a 100 gr. BT.  Later.  >>  klallen

I am using Retumbo in my 7mm STW with very good results. Velocities are right up there and accuracy is superb. I am driving the 160 Partition at close to 3300 with groups in the .4's  I intend to try it in the 264 Win Mag as well. Eagleye.
