Ok, I used to be a gun dealer for like 10 years, but quit. but I am still friend with a lot of my old connections, and from the general feed back, of many dealers, distrubiters,

they are predicting a 300 to 400 % increase in brass, primmer, and loaded ammo, by FEB> 2009, I have noticed that, midway, has increased there stock a bunch over the last few months, like 22-250, cases, from $125.00 to like $185.00, in like 3 months or less, that's $50.00 in 3 months!!

I don't know how many people  believe this, but its definietly going up, up, up!! two of the sales men, from a larg distributor, told me that all of his vendors, will nopt give them a price till the delivery truck has delivered the new items to there warehouse, meaning even the distributor doesn't know there cost when they order, only when they recieve it!! due to them , holding out for the latest UP price on raw materials!!,

So the time to buy what you like is NOW, as if all is true, primers could be like $ 100.00 a thousand, and a box of shotgun shells , over $40.00!!

The libs won't have to tax us out of existence; the economy will do it for them.

Looks like I will be digging my lead out of the backstop!

Gas where I am at is $4.09 a Gallon, Diesel is $4.80 a gallon, reloading supplies are going up again. The cost of reloading seem to have started to go up last September, a 15% jump around that time.

In my loading bench is a lot of brass that I started to collect quantity during the late 80s and have continued since then. I just need a few more molds and some large quantities of GCs. Then I should be set for about 10 year or more.

I am stocked up with bunch of stuff, but not a life times worth.

Jerry

I have a case each of Federal 205 and 210 primers that were leftover from a recent large primer order--see the classified section if interested as they are for sale.
