Finding Boxer primed brass for some cartridges is difficult or at least expensive. I am looking for good info on Berdan to Boxer conversion. Pulling the primers is easily done. I saw an article about 20 years ago that involved using a punch to gently tap the anvil flat in the primer pocket and also moved the brass enough to close the offset flash holes. have any of you seen this article?

The last time I tried to do this type of conversion, I drilled the center hole and then used a RCBS primer pocket swager to complete the conversion, but Berdan primers come in more than a couple of sizes.
So Good Luck,
Jerry

Thanks for the info! I feel confident to get the job done safely with the info given. I plan to only load moderate loads so that the beast will still be fun to shoot and will prolong case life. its going to be a while before I have time to dig into this project but will update later.
