I have a 338 Federal and I want to run a 200-210 around 2400 FPS.
The bullets I have seen have been for 338 win mags and i worry that they wont open at the lower velocity.
Nosler made some BT and i can get my hands on 100 of them but then what.
I am new here and new to reloading so any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks

| I've used both the Speer 200 gr SP and Hornady's 200 gr SP oin whitetails and hogs, both expand well at less than .338 Mag velocities.

I haven't tried to reload for my 338 Federal yet but I would think Nosler's Accubond or Ballistic tipped bullets would open up at a reduced velocity.

| We noticed loaded ammo seconds so looked further for an explanation ,the brass or bullet had some cosmetic blem so it was reduced in price.I spoke to a midway tech & they're in the process of getting FLAT Rate shipping like bivwak.
