I have a 338 Federal and I want to run a 200-210 around 2400 FPS.
The bullets I have seen have been for 338 win mags and i worry that they wont open at the lower velocity.
Nosler made some BT and i can get my hands on 100 of them but then what.
I am new here and new to reloading so any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks

I've used both the Speer 200 gr SP and Hornady's 200 gr SP oin whitetails and hogs, both expand well at less than .338 Mag velocities.

I haven't tried to reload for my 338 Federal yet but I would think Nosler's Accubond or Ballistic tipped bullets would open up at a reduced velocity.

We noticed loaded ammo seconds so looked further for an explanation ,the brass or bullet had some cosmetic blem so it was reduced in price.I spoke to a midway tech & they're in the process of getting FLAT Rate shipping like bivwak.
