What kind of primers do I have? RWS 250, 5.50 mm, number 5620. I picked them up at a gun show today.

Large rifle primers.

Not imported anymore that I know of, so if you take the time to work up a great loading...you may never be able to get anymore.

Scott (hope that helps) B

I've begun to see primers on the shelf here in Ohio. Limited to one box per customer and priced 10 bucks higher than before (per 1,000), but they are showing up.
Paid $38.95 for a box of 1,000 Remington LP's. Went back a week later and they had some Winchester (which I prefer because they are gold-colored rather than silver) for $37.95. And, even though they know me and remembered that I had bought a box the week before I was able to buy another.
I think patience is the byword here. Componets and ammo will be available as before (but, as everything) higher priced.

I tried to press these in and they are no where close to fitting. I'll use my CCI's.
