Dad has been using the 308 165 BT interlocks in the old 06 for the last thirty plus years, well he is down to about three-hundred or so, so he went to buy more, could not find them so he bought the 165 SST, how close to the standard interlock performance are they??? are they thinner jacket, open up quicker do more damage???? or are the the same bullet but just with a tip on them????

I just started shooting the 165 gr SST'S after shooting all kinds of 06 bullets. They group very nicely and I have not had to adjust my scope at all for 100 yds.

The bullet I shoot the most out of my 06 is the Nosler Accubond in 165 gr.
