On the Military Channel, they had a show on this evening about the dogs that the service men have adopted and brought home.

It is worth watching.

I once saw a show on military dogs and their bravery under fire. I'm not ashamed to say there were tears in my eyes several times. RD

RD,

They do have shows on the Military Channel about the K9 Corps, they also had one of those on tonight.

My parents, both military people, got a German Sheppard that was a real police dog in Germany. The dog had commands in German for him to take a person down. The was retired at 8 years old, he was a wonderful family member until he passed at 17.
