That is awesome stuff 72....I am somewhat of a history buff, and naturally warfare and history fascinate me..Of all the wars America has fought,Vietnam and the Civil War are the two that I try to understand the most.I`m not sure why Vietnam does so,perhaps largely the fact that you fellas often fought insurgents/aka Viet Cong as well as NVA Regulars:confused:
not like Iraq, but it does show a resemblance in the resurgent use of guerilla warfare even in todays modern battlefield.I will try to post some of my pics from Desert Storm as well as pics from OIF..
GREAT POST BROTHER:thumbs:

I would like to see your pictures. This is only a small part of mine. Most were taken with one of very small Minox spy cameras and the rest with a Kodak Brownie camera. Niether is a first rate camera and I had a hard time getting film for either as I got to the PX about once every 6 weeks.

Awesome pictures! I have many from ODS, but I need to get them scanned. The harddrive the original scans resided on took a dump a few years ago, and I just never got around to scanning them again.

Great thread, by the way.

I've got a form to fill out but just haven't done it yet.

My replacement as acting company commander of A 1/46 got the Congressional Medal of Honor, it looks like they could give me a CIB.

No Americans died in the unit while I was with it. Kern Dunagan cannot say that.

Was the same when I was there.  We ran down to Scania nearly every night.  When we were lucky we just ran 2 convoys to Taji.  I was in the trailers between the PX and theatre when the trailers were first put in.  Before that was a warehouse by the airfield where our TOC was.  Are you with the 101st??  I was 3/502d back in '00-'04.
