:eek2:The 9422 is one of the best lever rimfires ever produced by a major firearm company . If you want one, buy it now because Winchester is stopping production next year. This is the last year for the 9422. Winchester says the cost of production is more than they can sell the rifle for and make a profitt. Another great gun on its way out, if it is made out of quality material , it won't last long on todays market. :crybaby::thumbs1::sad:

It's a shame to see it go out of production.  I'd still like to get the Legacy model in 22mag.

I wish they would just keep making these guns and raise the price. This is the same exact thing that happened to the Browning Auto-5. I bought one for my wife for sporting clays shooting the year before they stopped making them. I was glad I did. I hope Marlin will never stop making the Model 39A. I paid list 5 years ago, $405.00, and it was worth every cent.  billt

That does really stink.I don`t see why they don`t keep a limited supply in production and storage.:sad:That is a nice rifle..One of my buddy`s has one.
