I have recently heard that the good folks at Kimber are ceasing production of their rimfire Rifles!
The source I heard from stated that they are so busy with centerfire Rifles and pistols that the rimfire Rifles will no longer be constructed.
Shame this, as I have several Kimber rimfire Rifles including an extremely accurate Model 22 HS (Hunter/Silhouette) that I take afield for Ground Squirrel Hunting only on "Special Occasions"!
This particular Kimber Rifle has a FANTASTIC trigger and exquisite wood! I topped this fine Rifle with a Leupold 6x18 variable scope! It is one of my favorite Ground Squirrel Rifles of all time.
Anyone else heard about the cessation of production of the Kimber rimfire Rifles?
Long live Kimber!

I think you can still get the Kimber single shot 22 from the CMP program.

Yes, the CMP has the M84, 600 frns last I looked. However, that is/was the previous incarnation of Kimber. Damn accurate peice, and very heavy for caliber target rifle. Love mine.
