Are they serious? 
Pretty cool for the Russians that he's still alive. Imagine if we still had Samuel Colt or John Browning alive.

I read somewhere that Mikhail did not design the AK-47 that is named after him but was designed by captured rifle designer of the famous m39, m40 Schmitzers. Mikhail helped design the magazine that feeds the AK-47.
