I just got off the phone with Mitchell's and ordered 2 new Mausers. They should be here by the end of the week. I got a "Collector Grade" with all the acessories, and a "Premium Grade" with accessories. Both are new with all matching numbers. I'll try and post some pictures when I get them. Now I've got to get going on handloading. This should be fun. The 8MM is a good cartridge to handload for, and there are several bullet choices avaliable. They're going to ship them to a dealer here in town that I've done quite a lot of business with in the past, so there shouldn't be any problem. It's going to be a long week!  billt

Billt,

Congratulations!  The 8mm is getting some overdue recognition of late IMO due to the influx of the 325 WSM and the talk of foreign calibers.  Don't know if you have plans to do so but should you decide to take one of the 8 mm Mauser's hunting you should have potent medicine for deer game and the like.

Looking forward to hearing more!
