The AR-15 series of rifles are among my favorite military type weapons.  I especially like the lightweight carbines, as they're so easy to carry when hiking the hills.   I've done some reloading for my little mouse gun in the past, mostly using 55gr BT's and W748 powder.   When I have a scope mounted on it and I do my part, the rifle is capable of making some long range hits.

I've had these two for 16 years now.  The one on top has been fired more times than I care to think of, and the bottom one is still brand spankin' new.  (They're registered so I don't mind showing them)

That would be very true Gene, those emoticons are gayer than a 12 man orgy, but moving on...

I have never really liked the look of the legal m4 varients. The 16" barrel has always made it look funny in my eyes. The a2 versions have always looked better to me, but meh. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Real nice Shorty's you have there GR. Here's my Colt that I replaced the collapsible stock with a full. Was also trying out a different flash hider. Ended up putting the factory one back on. Really liked this one, got stolen with some others in 1981.

Rob,  I've only had experience with my Colts, but I've heard an awful lot of good things about the Bushmasters.  There's a couple of guys here that have them.
