Where can I find "camo" type of Huntes or blaze orange out doors fabic. I live in a state that requires the wear of this color, Plus when I go out on my farm doing farm things, I wear bright orange, just in case.

Plus Katie can make any things with her sewing machine.

Thanks,

Jerry

Jerry, Better read your regs carefully. Some states do not allow blaze Camo now. That being said I have found blaze orange and several styles of camo in the Walmart fabric section and also at Hancock Fabrics. It's been a while since I bought any but I know it was there in the past. RD

Thanks,

Jerry

Walmarts down here dropped most of their sewing/fabric stuff. Mrs. Charley was plenty pissed at them!

Hell Charley, I'm pissed at them. Here in WI they had guns at every store. Ran all the local shops out of the gun business and then pulled all the guns from all but 4 stores in the entire state. You'd think they were in bed with the gun grabbers.

Hardees did the same thing up here. Offered fried chicken at a low price. Locked up several KFCs, Chester Frieds, etc. Then shut down their fried chicken about the time they started their "6 dollar burger" bs. Now they are closing up here right and left. Menu is crap and nobody goes there. RD

Here if Wally World closed out thier guns, they would loose a lot of business, especially since Cabela is across the parking lot.

To say how far out in the sticks I am, we got a new KFC (Now Grilled, Not Fried) and it is busy, before that we had a Mickey Ds and a Subway.

I will check with DNR and go to JoAnn's or Wally World for fabric if needed.

Only about 40% of the Walmarts here carry guns.

Most of the Walmarts here in Maine took their guns out a couple of years ago. The Walmart just across the line in North Conway NH still has a limited number, but will order what you want. We have our Cabelas about an hour and a half from me. LL Bean about hour and a half away carries a good selection. But, Kittery Trading post is a couple of hours away. They carry more guns than anyone in the area.

As for orange camo...it is legal here. Just made so a couple of years back. There is a call out as to how much needs to be orange.

Here is a link for an outfit that has blaze camo. I have never dealt with them, but you can buy a sample for a buck.

So far as I have been able to find out, that the hunter must be wearing 400 sq inches of hunter/blaze orange.

I found that website interesting, plus there was more than the twil fabric, some nice weather resistant stuff. Katie does beautiful sewing, so she may get to make a few things for me.

Thanks,

Jerry
